I've read it all (including the install.txt and the daryl.learninghouston article) but it makes no sense to me.
I've copied the default file, and changed the base to my necessary url. That bit I can cope with.
Next I try to do stuff with the database. I currently run 5 football player fansites. They all play for Man United (sorry!). I want to be able to share content (match reports, previews, etc) but keep the feel of an independent site.
I am getting ready to upgrade a site from 4.6 to 4.7. The site makes heavy use of the IMAGE and IMAGE_ASSIST modules. I have read over the forum and see that people are having trouble with the image module.
What is the proper procedure for upgrading when a site uses IMAGE and IMAGE_ASSIST?
I just upgraded to 4.7.3 from 4.7.2 and it seems to have gone flawlessly. I am still evaluating my site for certain bugfixes (e.g. the "double login problem"). I created this thread in case people run into difficulty they can mention it here so the rest of us can be on the lookout. Good luck with the upgrade everyone.
I have drupal installed on my windows desktop running it with Apache 2.0.x, MySQL 5.0, and PHP5.
I have been working on a website for my company and now I need to move this website to a server machine. What do I have to do?
I've recompiled PHP on my system and now all drupal pages are serving up garbage characters and data rather than the expected content. This doesn't affect non-drupal installations.
