After upgrading FCKeditor 2.3.2 to 2.4
in my Drupal 5.0 it was working OK.
After upgrading Drupal 5.0 to 5.1,
the other additional modules work OK,
but FCKeditor 2.4 doesn't work - it just
reloads the page instead of starting
javascript.
I have just upgraded my drupal site from 4.74 to 4.75. www.girlsonfilmnetwork.org . The original theme of my site has disappeared and I am unable to log into admin. When I try to log in to the admin I get this warning:
warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/style.css) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/girlson/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/girlson/public_html/includes/theme.inc on line 67.
I'm having problems after upgrading to 4.7.6. Most of them (theming, etc) I've managed to resolve, but I can't figure out what's going on with two contributed modules, or with a search box I've put in my theme.
Webform and Sidecontent are both having the same problem. When I view pages with forms on them, I can see the form. When I view the pages with Sidecontent, I don't see the sidecontent.
Then when I Preview a webform pages, I can see the form; when I preview a sidecontent page, I can see the sidecontent. BTW, these are not the same pages.
I am trying to upgrade from 4.7 to 5.1. I tried it on my production installation, which failed miserably (hint: BACK UP YOUR DRUPAL SITE BEFORE UPGRADING or you may live to regret it! I was able to restore my 4.7 installation.
Next, I used the backup files to set up an identical website on my pc. I was able to upgrade on my PC without trouble.
The GUI upgrade instructions, are they fully completed? To me it almost looks like a joke, expecially the line "any other files you need from the 'backup' directory". I'm a beginner so I have no clue which other files I need.. Did the three first steps and got to the point where my site is in the first installation steps and want's me to enter the database location and information. Will this ruin my current database content?
I'm upgrading from Drupal 4.7 to 5.1. I've backed up my database just fine, but backing up my Drupal Files has been very confusing. The main problem is I can't seem to find much information on the subject. I've seen the stuff provided in the handbook and didn't find it too helpful unfortunately.
I'm using a Windows Command Line Shell (Start -> Run -> "cmd".) All I need is are good, precise, step-by-step directions on how to make a backup of my existing Drupal directory.
