Upgrading Drupal

Hi

I upgraded from 5.1 to 5.3 and some of my block titles have disappeared.

I opened one of the blocks ( configure) and saved it again with Correct title. Still it did not appear. Only the the blocks that are used by one of my "blockbars" have disappeared. All the rest of the block titles are fine. Even my second blockbar is displaying fine.

I am not sure what may be the issue. Anyone has any pointers.

I am very new to Drupal. I got a working 5.3 site, then upgraded to 6.0. I have searched and read the support documentation but cannot find where to correct the following error that is reported in the status report after running cron:

user warning: Unknown column 'status' in 'where clause' query: SELECT * FROM files WHERE status = 0 and timestamp < 1195997216 in /Users/sitename/Sites/drupal-5.3/modules/system/system.module on line 1104.

Can anyone please help?

hello, i just upgraded a test site to 5.3 and when i check the status report for the site it still shows the site at the 5.2 version. How can i verify that the 5.3 upgrade was successful? Thanks in advance.

after upgrading drupal beta 2 to beta 3
in the forum pages shown this text " You are not allowed to post new content in forum " for all user.
I disabled all modules after upgrading and then enabled these again but this error not solved.
please help me quickly!

I am new to drupal and have been asked to help upgrade from 4.7.4 installation to 5.3 and currently backing up information and wanted to verify that all is in order, before proceeding!

The concern is over the requirements, as our hosting is with hostgator and our php version is 4.4.4 and mysql is 4.1.22-standard and it seems 5.3 runs on a clean install fine and just wanted to make sure the upgrade and all is feasible in the current environment.

As I read this on the requirements page and was not clear on how it related!
