This forum is for questions about upgrading an existing Drupal site. Don't forget to read the UPGRADE.txt file that comes with every Drupal download.

5.5 to 5.6 - You must read this - Very weird!

Ok, so I upgraded my site from 5.5 to 5.6 - Followed the upgrade.txt file from 1 to 10. All was good and got to the upgrade.php part (database upgrade). And that ran with no errors at all. Nice, right? Well, not so fast!

While i was checking to make sure all is good, i noticed that some and not all articles don't show the teaser or the body when you click on the actual article. So, I will have an article title but no body what so ever!

Problems with input format after upgrading from 5.5 to 5.6

I can't configure any input format in any of my sites. I need to reconfigure allowed html tags, but when I clic on "save configuration" nothing happens.

Please, help.

Upgrade Drupal From 5.3 to 5.6 - Complete Guide Required !

Hi,

I am completely newbie to Drupal. How i can upgrade to 5.6 ? - I read the upgrade handbook (http://drupal.org/upgrade/downloading-drupal-gui), but i can't understand. I am confused " Which files/folders to backup & Replace " - " Which files/folders to Upload "

At present, i installed Drupal 5.3 on my website: http://meraTechspace.net

Thanks in Advance :)

From Drupal 5.3 on Linux server To Drupal 5.6 on FreeBSD server.

I've been running Drupal 5.3 on my Ubuntu server for a few months without knowing much about Drupal. It has been a great learning experience. :)

I am at the point where my site needs a bit faster speed and stability. So, I just installed FreeBSD on a better box. I'm planning to run Drupal 5.6 on it. Here is my problem. I've been reading so much about backing up a site or upgrading a site, but I couldn't find anything about moving an existing site to a new server with an upgrade.

Upgrade from 5.2 to 5.6 problems

I have just upgraded, following all the recommended steps. My new install is displaying the homepage in Garland theme, but ALL links are broken. For example, clicking on Administer brings up the error "The requested URL /admin was not found on this server." I have upgraded Pathauto to a newer version (from 1.44.2.6 to 1.44.4.47) . I cannot understand why basic pages are unavailable when the homepage is there full of content...

Drupal + PHP5.2 at Site5: 500 Internal Server Error

Howdy,

at Site5 they are going to stop supporting PHP4 by end of February 2008, so i took the step and moved my sites to PHP5. This is easily done by appending (uncommenting in 5.x) the following line in the .htaccess file: AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php and things start running on Site5 PHP 5.2.0.

Now, the problem is that when on PHP5, i keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error on the Drupal 4.7.x sites and on a site that was upgraded from 4.7.3 to 5.x
