I am getting involved in a really exciting project where we are exploring the possibility of implementing Drupal. I am trying to reach out to a Technical person who can help me identify some of the benefits of Drupal
Here are the specific points I would like your feedback on as compared to other commercial products or other products like drupal...
Okay, I am ready to turn my site into a Drupal site. First some questions.
I want a site with multiple sub sites which I know I can do. What I have a question about is can I setup the site without interupting my current podcast feeds. that is bring my site down and setup drupal in place, but still have access to the rss feeds or am I best to move the rss feed, or just plain take it down.
Hi,
I'd like to know if Drupal is suitable to manage a simple site syncronization between 2 web servers.
That is:
I have one or more web sites, developed by a third-party company, that are hosted on a first web server.
I only have to take a look to the web site on the first web server and, if I like it, publish the site on the second web server, which would be reached by internet users.
At the moment I don't need to do anything else.
I have several independent Drupal sites and I have started to notice the benefits of using a multisite installation in terms of shared maintenance (version upgrades, localization, modules).
What's the recommended procedure to consolidate several existing, independent Drupal sites into a single Drupal multi-site?
Does drupal need to be installed on the same machine that the website content is on, or can you manage content on a remote machine? I know tht you can have many virtual hosts with one Drupal installation, but I am wondering about the physical machine being different.
