A node/content item spanning multiple page?

Hi folks,

I've been getting requests from my users where they'd like to add a content/node item which spans for more than a page. Good examples of this are review articles posted in Anandtech and other hardware review sites. Are there any built-in tag in Drupal which can achieve this feature?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thinking of using Drupal..

Hey!

I used to use Drupal many years ago and after coming back online and deciding I want to create a hobby site I'm wondering if it is suitable for me.

I need to create a basic news posting front page along with an intergrated forum. I'm a little worried that the forum isn't feature-rich like phpbb or other forums.

I'd like to be able to give certain users privaleges to post news etc..

I'd also like it to be very good for search engines so that google finds individual stories..

Is all this possible???

missing images in 4.5.1 release

After installing 4.5.1, i noticed that it complained in the logs about some missing *.gif files. Upon looking in the misc/ directory, i saw that the files were there, but in the .png format instead of .gif.
I simply used the convert utility from the ImageMagick package and created the missing .gif's ("convert source destination"). The name of the files are:

menu-collapsed.gif
menu-expanded.gif

THANK YOU Drupal Community

Hi guys

I have spent 2 years mucking around with various open source community applications, and have tried pretty much all of them including Mambo, PHPWebSite, PHPNuke, etc etc

I had avoided Drupal because it looked a little bit more 'technical' for a dummy like me, but as luck would have it I took the Christmas break as a chance to install and test version 4.5.1.

Drupal ROCKS !!!!!! The software is just so flexible and customisable it really look like an application that Micro$oft would sell for $1M plus per site !

A Download Section

Which is the best way to implement a download section in 4.5.1?

Thanks..//

remove "$user's blog" link

I just upgraded my blog to Drupal-4.5.1, it looks very cool and it works great.

http://florin.myip.org/blog/

One question:
I do not need the "florin's blog" link that's appended after each preview on the main page and at the end of each blog submission. On the main page, after the preview, i only need the "read more" link.

How do i remove the "florin's blog" link?
