On this site: http://aasg.info/ pick from the drop-downs from the left sidebar. You will see lists of meetings pulled from database, each has a link to a detail page.
I want to build the same site on Drupal. Would the best way to do is to build a STATIC PAGE for each detail page? Or is there a way to build one single dynamic page that changes according to user request?
My users are unexperienced with Forums like Drupal's, and often they use Comments boxes to introduce brand new forum topics.
Is there a way to change these comments into new forum topics?
The simplest way I can think of is to create a new forum topic and copy-paste the body of the comment in the topic. But I want the new topic keeps the original author (of the comment) as the sender. How could that be done?
First of all, sorry about my poor english, I am spanish :)
I want to write long stories in my drupal web, and I want to only display in front page the first part of story. Drupal does it right now, but I would like to control the exact place when the story is "cut". Something like that:
Basically, when content is added to the system, this program scans the text for words or phrases listed as keywords for advertisers, thus peppering the doc with external site URL's.
This would be great for referencing content within the same site, sort of like Wikipedia, but automated.
