have implemented drupal blogs on a South African news site, Mail & Guardian Online @ http://blogspot.mg.co.za and it is a huge success, thank you.

A question re: the calendar module. Please forgive me I am not a techie... but your answer can be technical as I will show it to our developer.

I am having problems grasping the idea of how to create and handle content in Drupal. Is there any step by step instructions of how to create and manage pages, menus, categories.

What about using Drupal as a tracker of events in my home town? I realize it could be done w/ people posting their events. But getting any traction would require a lot of manual entry of events, artists. Could I get events from other websites using HTTP & XML or XML-RPC or web site scraping? Can Drupal do that? Has anyone done that?

I’m thinking about organizing one Drupal Theme Contest with a money prize. I was thinking to offer around 250 €, but, I believe, if more people join in, we could increase this amount of money and create something even more attractive.

All the developed themes would have to be offered to the community and as such, we would probably help increasing radically the number of themes offered to Drupal webmasters.

Only new themes would be accepted on the contest and I would propose that the winner would be chosen by the Drupal.org users.

With DrupalCon nearing, I thought I'd figure out an easy way for everyone te recognize eachother. Just print out the following PDF and wear it to the event!

Is it possible to not show the right side, after clicking a link.

I don't want the right side to show up when im browsing the forum.
