If I get a free domain from a site like DotTK or FreeDomain.co.nr, will the authentication work? Could I say 'Login as username@something.co.nr' as they use javascript to redirect users.
Is the Drupal Handbook available in a download somewhere? Either as a PDF or just a .zip would be fine.
When I click on Handbook I can't find any quick and easy method to get the entire thing onto my local machine. I'd like to be able to read through the entire thing while not online.
I can't figure this one out. More than a quarter of newly registered users at my site (www.pharmer.org) are failing to login. The email is sent. They comeback, try to login and get ' Sorry. Unrecognized username or password'. I've tested this extensively and I've never had a problem authenticating as a new user from either firefox or ie. I just can't believe that 25% of the people who register can't figure out how to cut and paste a password.
I'm having a bad time of getting Vocabulary views to look professional.
When I view any of my taxonomy pages, I would love to have excerpt, teaser or just title views showing in the main body. However, those, or at least excerpt or teasers only apply to main page which I'm not using because I have a front page layout.
I have taxonomy context which isn't customized enough to trim down my taxonomy view pages to show partial node views or just title. I use taxonomy dhtml but that's only for a few vocabularies and not what I want for other vocabulary sections.
Yes, it is really a cool feature, the ability to log in in a Drupal site using some other site's login and password.
I've seen some comment on one of my sites complaining for having it disabled. So I've been thinking about it and just want to share something that worries me a little bit.
The fact is, when someone uses your site's login and password in some other site, they're giving away that information to someone else.
