any demo available for location.module by ankur ?

I'm considering using Drupal for the site I manage, but was wondering if there is a way to automaticly have news items published and expire based on date and time. This seems like a standard feature for a CMS software but I haven't found documentation oh how to do it. So far I haven't found it in a temporary install either.

Can this happen in Drupal 4.6?

Thought this posting about use of 4.6 with ecto was interesting: Drupal 4.6's blogapi module improves significantly on things and allow me to add any content I want (with sanity limitations) via ecto. ecto

Today I tested out an Eclipse plugin that supports the Blogger API and was able to easily post a blog to RobsHouse.net using it. I did a writeup here:

After I posted the blog using Eclipse I then added the screenshots using img_assist.

when I add a node, it always tell me this:

Access denied for user: 'user@localhost' to database 'dbname' query: LOCK TABLES sequences WRITE in /var/www/drupal/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.

how can I cover this problem?

I installed Drupal, have been looking around, and enjoy much of it. Its VERY powerful.

However, I'm finding some things that literally baffle me.

1) Comment Moderation - I enabled this in the modules, and set everything up according to the Handbook. Yet when I view comments on a story as either my administrator account or a normal users account (which has permission to moderate comments) nothing shows up as far as moderation is concerned. What's the problem?

2) User photos - I turned on the option to display user photos beside a post or comment, yet there's no option in the user profile to add a photo... I don't understand this.

3) Categories - Is there a block that shows a list of all of the categories on the side so that users can check out a certain category? - also, how do I get the items category (or term) to show up on the front page with a story (similar to drupal.org has "News and Announcements" or another term in each post)?

4) Submission Queue - pretty similar to content moderation. I enabled everything and followed the handbook to a T, but nothing shows up as far as being able to vote on any content or such...

5) File attatchments - I've attatched a few files to a few news stories, but nothing uploads or anything when I post.

6) Story description - How do I get the "read more" option to show up? Like when stories are submitted, how do you define what is just the "description" that should show up on the main page, and what is the full text that should show up when you hit "read more"?
