Hello...

Does anyone have a positive experience with a certain merchant service?

I am looking to charge a recurring monthly charge for members. I prefer not to use paypal because members would be required to sign up for paypal, correct?

I am just looking for a reliable merchant service that already integrates well with the current ecommerce module.

Any suggestions?? positive experiences??

I posted this in a reply to a popular topic but wanted to make sure someone read it.

I am interested in coding but I have no experience. Can anyone recommend a good place to start learning the basics of the type of coding that I would use with Drupal? Should I just grab a book on Java script or PHP and just start page on or is there a better place to start, like Visual Basic? I know this will take time but I have to start somewhere.

Please read hivemindz article on Drupal. I'm not a programmer at all and can't understand most of what he is complaining about. But please read.

I thought that some people might be interested in seeing BloxPress, an AJAX based theme for WordPress. I don't know how much effort has been put into DHTML interfaces and asynchronous communication with the server - I just though I'd pass the link along for perusal.

OK ... times like this, I really wish I were a real programmer, rather than just a wooden boy.

OK .. I'm looking through the available PHP snippets, and I've found some that will get me node, with teasers from a specific taxonomy term. And I've found some that will get me a list of titles from a specific taxonomy term. Now, is there some way to meld the two concepts so that I generate the title and teaser from the most recent node in a term, followed by simple title (and author) links to, say, the next five?

I'm new to drupal and trying to build a portal with news aggregation.
I'm playing with aggregator2 because it creates usual nodes from rss feeds. Is it possible to apply common moderational rules to these item? I want aggregated articles are not to be published automatically, but be added to moderation queue.
Who can give an advice?
