Display x last nodes -1

Hi!

I'm looking for a way to display the X last nodes of certain type and category -1
So for example the 5 last ones after the last one.

I found this snippet which is really cool, maybe there's a way to modify it ?

I hope someone can help me with that ;) :)

Thanks a lot ! :)

Taxonomy for a League

After using Drupal for a little while I am starting to figure out this whole taxomony thing, but I don't think I am there yet. I am putting together a drupal site for a sports league. There are different schools involved. Within this league there are about 10 different divisions, nothing new so far. Now a school can have multiple teams in multiple divisions (i.e. Men A = School A1, School A2). What is the best route to take in setting up this taxonomy? I tried to show a quick answer below.

What makes drupal different in terms of SEO than f.i. Joomla wit SEF URL component ??

Hey everyone ...

The reason that I am checking out drupal is because I have read many many times that drupal is very SE friendly ... I also have read that Joomla for instanc is not .

Now, I know that there are SEF modules / components for Joomla wich should make the URLs SE friendly. Drupal seem to have this coming 'out of the box'...

My question then is ... Since one can make joomla's URL's SE friendly too, in the end, what would the difference be in regards of SEO friendlyness between the two ?? They both do SEF url's ?

Just dreaming

I'm a non-native english writer, please excuse any errors and funny words.

If I'm allowed to dream, I would wish a drupal site setting system that can be configured in a browser. And I do dream that the site settings are stored already in a database. Huh.

It might be logical from the trail of development, that the drupal configuration is splitted between a text file and a browser based part. But in the humble opinion of a dump user it would be great to have only one front end.

Permission to users for editing own posts in drupal.org

Hi,
I just created a forum topic. After I clicked the preview and the submit button, I realized that I mispelled a word in the title ("searh" instead od "search"). I know that the "preview" function is for that but it happens sometimes. Sorry...
So my question is "why users can't edit their own posts?"

Searh taxonomy terms?

Hi, I'm designing a website that will have thousands of taxonomy terms.

So I want to be able to serch the terms.

As far as I know, with the new searching module (SQL/Trip Serch) a search can be narrowed by vocabulary terms or node types but it just search nodes not terms itself.

Is there any way to achive this?

Thanks in advance for your comments.
