I am talking about the facility that drupal sites have of letting people login to their sites using using the user accounts on drupal.org

In my experience, it never works.

I have to do a school project with drupal and the reason I am posting is because I am new to all of this. I am familiarizing myself with all the drupal keys and feature and want to create a community site as my school work. Anyways, I have a problem, I want to change the way my site looks with a CSS sheet but it just won't work. Another thing I think is important is that I am trying to do all of this but the server that actually has Drupal installed on it is the school server (sunsite.utk.edu).

Im try to find some opwnsource cms to develop site like picture and video gallery. Something similar like http://www.timekiller.com/. Anyone can tell me is possible do design and table sorted video content with drupal.
Is there some module that can manage video files hosted and remote and show image for that video clips?

I am a Drupal newbie who has been using the software for about a month. When I initially downloaded the package, I decided to go with the 4.7 beta, since I wasn't expecting to be live with the new site for another couple of months. Through the process of setting up the site, I have found several modules that I need to satisfy my functional need. However, several of these modules do not work on my 4.7rc2 install. Either the modules say they are compatible up to 4.6 and do not work, or they liste 4.7 and I still encounter various problems on setting up the module.

end of last year I installed the Drupalsystem and it run good. But after a time some days THE SERVER STOPPED!!! Okay, I must tell you that I also installed the Gallery2-Modul, maybe that is the reason!?
I restarted the Server and after some hours/days the Server stopped again... again... again.... AAAAAAAH!

Okay, there where a lot of Users - a lot! But that cannot be true. Does anybody know, what might be the reason of that???

PS: I would change the System, but maybe it's the only way out... :'(
