I'm just trying to clarify something for myself.

I'm running drupal 4.6 and am pretty new to Drupal in general.

Here's my question:

The upload module and/or the filemanager/attachment module combination are for attaching files to *new* nodes or for users with rights to edit existing nodes.

If I want to give users the ability to upload files to an existing page or node without going into the edit feature I should use the flexinode module?

i installed the TinyMCE Editor. but i am getting errors when i tried to configure the Tinymce module.
i am getting errors
Fatal error: Call to undefined function form_radios() in C:\wamp\www\drupal\modules\tinymce\tinymce.module on line 561
what could be the problem

In various threads, like http://drupal.org/node/56972 and http://drupal.org/node/43712 there is very intense discussion about how to patch a problem with paths.module that causes sites with a lot of path aliases to eventually slow to a crawl as more and more paths are added.

I have a joomla site now and I am considering moving to Drupal. I have several problems with joomla including the lack of SEO/SEF and lack of TRUE multi-lingual capabilities. However, i have a site that is nearly complete and looks pretty good already built in Joomla. Before finding a developer and spending the money to convert and build a new site, I wanted to make sure Drupal has the required modules and capabilities to do what I need.
