I am an 18-year veteran of the internet technology industry. I became interested in Internet technologies while completing a graduate degree in social and political theory in the CSPT Program at the University of Victoria.

I began my career developing internet and intranet solutions for the Government of British Columbia, including one of the first government portals in Canada. Subsequently I have led dozens of large, medium and small development projects, and helped a wide range of organizations as a technology consultant and information architect.

For the last three years I have focused on building my new company, Catalyst Internet, by growing expertise in the areas of open-source software, campaign development and management and social networking technologies. We are also focused on semantic web technologies and mobile application development.
