CMS Test Methods/Tools

Hi,

I am very curious as of what approach does open source content management systems take to testing.

Is there a formal testing methodology used such as:
- Test Driven Development
- XProgramming
- Traditional

Do the testers follow specific guides or steps whilst undertaking the testing process?

I know as most CMS are community based, so do the developers simply release each build to the public and hope their peers discover these bugs?

And what type of automated test tools are used?

Thanks in advance,

Phil

I have some slightly specific questions about photo galleries

Hi, I'm looking for a gallery system and at the moment I've seen acidfree, image and shazamgallery but the only catch is that I run a multi user blog site and I want each of my users to have a seperate gallery space.
At the moment I haven't been able to find a solution short of simply making a directory for each user and simply asking nicely not to post in eacothers directories, but I'm sure sooner or later that would lead to some sort of slip up at least.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Restricting theme(s) to admin only

I am using Drupal 4.6 and would like to only allow one theme for non-admin users. How can I hack this in?
I simply want to hide the one other theme and don't mind coding it in.

has cck been released?

Has cck officially been released for 4.7?
Cck is listed under the 4.7 modules and I am not sure if I should install it now or after an offical release of the module. I am hesitating because upgrading of cck might turn out complicated.
