Blog Confusion

Yeesh, I seem to be struggling with some basics, lately...

Okay, I want my users to have access to 'my blog' on the navigation menu. According to the HowTo page here, I should make sure the blog module is enabled (it is), and make sure 'edit own blog' is enabled for the particular role I wish to configure (authenticated user - it is).

When using Multi Sites configuration, are we able to have the individual "files" directories in the different sites?

When using Multi Sites configuration, are we able to have the individual "files" directories in the different sites?

Or, they have to be in the same site as the Drupal code?

where are we trying to go with this code base - does anyone really know the answer

where are we trying to go with this code base - does anyone really know the answer or are we just kicking a dead horse?

Normally one gets a major version incriment when one breaks compatability (unless one is BETA).

That puts us on version 47 of drupal.

I conclude therefore that no one has any idea what we are trying to do or we are realy a very badly versioned BETA project.

Do Google bots detect Drupal?

Has anyone else noticed Google bots in their logs looking for "/popular/alltime" pages even though you're not linking to these pages in your site?

I'm wondering if Google's bots detect that my site is a Drupal site, and then attempt to gather metadata on the popularity of my pages using Drupal's own tools.

If so, that's interesting...
