I have finally figured out how to use Taxonomy, Vocabulary and Terms to build structure

I have learned, just recently, how to use the Category module to build structure

I know how to use CCK, Terms and Views together to build structure

Yeah? .. so what’s wrong --- that’s pretty cool

I am trying to style my site in a all black background with white text and red links. For some reason i cannot find the place to make this area black.

I installed drupal on my localhost the other day, and just want to say it is the best cms i have ever laid hands on. So just a few questions:

1/ Is drupal suitable for a free music download site, with all the frills and all // I am guessing a very big yes, but still want to know

2/ Can someone please explain or link to an explaination of how the language system works //I want to change the place_holder text, which file can i do this at

Uh, what the hell?

I was disabling node_privacy_byrole and now there are several modules no longer listed on the modules page... also, for my custom cck node types, all the custom fields are no longer showing up - all I get is the title and the vocab term... My custom content types have disappeared from the Content Type list, and I'm unable to create new content types. Everything shows up in the database, but it's like the module configuration page isn't getting updated....

I'm struggling with a page-layout issue and was hoping someone could give me a push in the right direction (and not a push to the ground ;-).

I'm building my "about" page.

Here's what I've done thus far:

1. Created page "about" and placed it in Primary links.
2. Created several sub-pages, like "beliefs", "values", etc., added a few lines of content, and placed them under "about"; when I click "about" in Primary links, these sub-pages appear in the header - so far so good.

What I'm having difficulty with is this...
