How would one show some HTML according to the content type (i.e. an article) in the "page" template file? I would like to provide a skip link to the comments section of a page, but of course, this link should only appear for content types that accept comments. Essentially, I want to know whether there is a variable or some such that can identify the content type in that template.
I am running a dedicated server with 2gb ram based in UK with mainly UK users. A VPS with 4gb ram based in USA could be cheaper. Can anyone share experience about whether it could also be faster? Whatever I have I will probably tune it myself, though I would not mind using a service like hotdrupal where I should not need to.
To say that the engine is innodb is not necessary, because Drupal creates InnoDB tables. The read-committed is also OK, but it is the autocommit off which makes the installation hang.
Is this true or am I doing something wrong?
And so with Drupal I can never program with transcations?
I have no RSS output. I have SYNDICATE in a block on my homepage but clicking the link gives a "You don't have permission to access /drupal/rss.xml on this server."
Also clicking the feed subscibe icon next to the website url in my browser (which I have set to automatically subscribe with Google Reader tells me that GR could not find a feed for that.
I do have content posted to the front page.
I tried this both with standard front page and also enabling front page (with feed) in Views. Same result.
Budget & Timeline
Up to $20,000 (initial phase, theme and architecture, should be less). The approach is to get a basic site up and running within the next few weeks (by January). Once the site is established (meaning the theme is developed and there are some basic pages) we will work to add functionality and refine the site. Purpose
Create a modern, professional, and minimalist design for a cybersecurity company website based in Drupal. This is a new brand for an established company. The brand will provide cybersecurity consulting services to clients in a broad range of markets including financial and legal services.
The growth of the brand will lead to increased use of the website with more interaction, for example, a private forum may be offered as a service to allow clients to share information securely. Additionally, a chat system and other interactive website features may be added.
