I figured I would check before I do this. I changed Drupal's default path pattern by removing "content/"

I tried doing a bulk update after this and nothing changed in all of my current paths. I also tried running cron after making the change.

My last option is to Delete Aliases then will they automatically be replaced by the new one?

Im using drupal 7. I installed video module, media module, lightbox2 and other support modules. But the video is not play in lightbox. I dont know how to play the video in lightbox. I need solution for this.

Is there any possible for play videos in light box?

I just wanted some suggestions on easy ways to switch back and forth from live to local as I upgrade my website. I could work on the website from the live server, but I'm assuming this isn't the way to go.

So what I have been doing is copy my "sites" directory from the live server and then do a fresh drupal install on WAMP and replace the sites folder, change the settings.php file to connect to my local database and some of drupals file paths like TMP and Private files and I'm good to go.

I am trying to build a site children can use to write and publish their own stories. Is it possible to create a nicer interface than the admin overlay pages for them to use to write and publish on?

I would like to know if it is possible to allow users/guests to edit some text when they visit my site.

The idea is that they would be able to view stories. Then the could do something like double click on the text, edit it, then save their own copy (either as a downloaded item or more preferably in their own section of the site) without altering the text as it is displayed to other users in its original situ.

Is it possible to automate this abilty?

i try to install ubercart but when i submit the order and send the check paying to the customer i find this error message:
Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists
how can i solve this problem?
