Drupal 7.x

Hi,

So I have node type with an image field, field_bkgrnd_img, which I want to use in an inline style declaration within my node template. What's the best way to get that? Are there other renderers as modules so I can just render($field_bkgrnd_img) and get a relative url rather than something wrapped in divs and spans? Or do I need to do a print $field_bkgnd_img['und'][0][filename] and prepend it with '/sites/default/files'?

I would like to use one of the standard Drupal themes, like bartik, but also, for some pages, get rid of the "grid" of regions and display an html page taking the full window of the browser, or, at least, the full width.
If that requires creating a content type for those pages that is fine. If there is more than one way I would like to hear about them all.

I am a newbie to drupal. I have read a post for installing drupal on 1and1 hosting, however it is well out-of-date and does not apply.

Here is my issue, I have downloaded a Drupal Template and want to install it on my new domain. I keep getting the following error when accessing my domain

Forbidden - You don't have permission to access / on this server. - Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Here is what I have done so far:

- Downloaded template and extracted it. Now I have two folders one called template xxxx which contains a sites and screenshots file and few others including the zipped sources file for the downloaded template (Lets call this F1). The second folder I have is the extracted sources file contains system.install, psd, clip-art etc.(Lets call this F2).

- I went to my domain on 1and1 and created a MySQL database. (Please note: I have another domain with 1and1 and this also has a separate MySQL database.)

- After this I went to MyWebSpaceExplorer on 1and1 and created a new root folder and called it Drupal and uploaded file F1. The Drupal folder has two folders in there now a _MACOSX folder and a Drupal-7.10 folder. (NOTE: I am using a MACOSX.)

I'm a bit new to Drupal. I let the client choose the Theme, they chose Mayo, now we want to make the first two paragraphs of an article a different style.

I can't see that in the Mayo fields.

I marked up the text with a div and then tried editing /public_html/fomf/sites/default/files/color/mayo-8283etc but I don't have permissions. I could probably change that, but perhaps I don't have permissions for a reason :-)

So, where's my error & what's my fix?

Do I have to choose a Theme more carefully in future, anticipating my every future need?

I have to built a website with multiple "mini-sites" inside, each one corresponding to groups. To do that I'm using Organic Groups module, but because this is the first time I use this module I have several questions.

I manage to create 2 groups (Group 1 and Group 2), and each group will have a specific navigation menu containing for example an About, People, etc menu links. Each menu links will have a static page.
