Drupal 7.x

Hi,
I'm new to Drupal 7. I already succeded to install on a Romanian shared Linux hosting site, under existant domain and subgroups, several instalation of Drupal 7.10 and changed several themes downloaded from drupal.org.

Yesterday, I changed to Drupal 7.12 and wanted to install a demonstration site bought from template-monster. The demonstration site was succeesfully installed and tested under xampp on Windows with Drupal 7.12. All have worked like a charm!

what is the best way to execute some PHP commands when user swicth website to another language?
D7 have some hooks concerning language but there is no hook for switching the language.

I can change language switcher links in that way that I add some URL parameter to them. Then I can test in hook_init() whether some language switcher link was clicked.

Is there any simplier solution?

I would like to offer my users the possibility to upload their videos directly through my site and that the upload is done on the youtube account dedicated to the site. A module is available in D6 but in drupal 7, that I have a problem. The module description (http://drupal.org/project/video_upload) tells me it is integrated with Media and MEdia Youtube but I never found this option.

I want to remove "Text Format" from creating nodes page because i set full html for all users and want to remove text format from node pages. How can i do this?

Hello! Pretty straight forward question really, I just wonder how, with the frame that comes with the standard blue masters edition, I could adjust the size according to personal preference? It just seems a bit too much in my opinion. Thank you!

I require a small and straight forward booking system (i believe!). All I want to do is:

Me: Set what dates I am free for an appointment

Customer goes on to site

Customer attempts to book an appointment and views the calendar (not free = red or something to that effect)

When customer selects a date I am free it informs me by email giving their name and phone number

I can then add this appointment to my calendar/it alerts me through drupal or even google CAL or outlook if I have the luxury of doing so!!
