Drupal 7.x

I'm using PhpMailer and I have a link where you can send email via contact form on field display. 

How to change widget on email field for display, now the only options are:

- Default email link
- Email contact form
- Email plain text

So I can only use the core contact form, but the fields are very limited and non specific to the source content type...

Is there a widget that would have "Weform" or "entitty form" as an available option?

Trying to create a block with a Hierarchical Select Jump menu to link users to the taxonomy path and need help ideas.

Country > State > County > City

Where when you select country, it populates state, select state, it populates counties, etc.

On form submit, it needs to redirect users to /united-states/florida/brevard/tampa -- the path of the corresponding taxonomy term.

Basically I need Hierarchical Select as a forward facing block.

I'm a fairly new Drupal user. I have one server running a couple of sites under Drupal 8 and another server running Drupal 7, both distributions installed as tarballs. I successfully managed to install Composer and use it to update the Drupal 8 core (using Composerize-Drupal), but I have not yet found any good instructions on how to convert an existing D7 site to be managed with Composer. Can this be done; is it worth doing; and, if so, how do I go about it?

A client has reported a strange behavior on his drupal site: one of his registered users was unable to post a comment; the text disappeared whenever he hit the "save" or "preview" button.  The client sent me the full text of the comment the user had forwarded to him via email.  By reconstructing the comment one sentence at a time (editing, saving, and adding the next sentence each time), I was able to determine that everything worked fine up until I tried adding a sentence involving the word "from".

When I replaced the word "from" with the phrase "belonging to" IT POSTED.

I wish to expose the filter of an an entity reference field in the search api view. Is that possible? 

Fields are taxonomy terms and entity reference. Please provide guidance

I'm having a headache trying to understand why at some point during development I am no longer redirected to the home page at login, but 'something' forces redirection to the 'site/user' page. And yet:
I haven't set any trigger/action
I have not installed any redirection module
I only have the Better Login module (which does not have any page redirect function)

The redirection rule of the "User has logged in" page redirect also doesn't give me any results.

What the hell could interfere?
