This error message is currently coming up on one of my websites on a shared server.
This is been going on for a number of days now and quite a bit of time has been wasted over it.
You always think, well I do, that there is something you can do to improve things and the responsibility for a better website (or better World in the grand scheme of things) lies not just with the others. Some would say it lies with oneself first of all.
I have run some updates on a site, and Drupal 7.67 seems to be the latest D7 release, and supposed to be still supported until 2021 from what I read, but I get the following image:
(OK, I can't add an image, the image add text helpfully tells me 'must be hosted on Drupal.org, upload with “Add a new file"'. But I have no "Add a new file" facility available.....
Anyway the image is of the /admin/reports/updates/update url on the site, and it includes the following text:
Manual updates required
Updates of Drupal core are not supported at this time.
I was trying to rename the uploaded file using the following code, unfortunately it returns an error as PDOException: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '3343-width' for key 'PRIMARY': INSERT INTO {file_metadata}
