Now my new user notification message does not replace any of the variables. So it has !username, !password, !login_url, !edit_uri, !site_team and looks horrible. What can I do?
I'm using the default theme (garland), and very few modules (wysiwig, sitemap).
I just wanted to thank the drupal community and all the developers for the great work they have done. Drupal and its modules are just awesome. I started using drupal a month ago and I am literally in love with it. Thank you all. Keep your amazing work going ! All the best!
I have installed the basic core of Drupal 7 and installed CTools and Views as the only modules. I then installed CKEditor 7.x and then inside that folder installed CKEditor 3.X (latest version).
It says it's installed correctly, however, when I go to create a new page no CKEditor shows up - it simply doesn't appear. I've tried both FireFox and IE 8 and nothing works to show me CKEditor. I even tried changing the themes and still nothing shows up. I can find it under Configuration > Content Editor > CKEditor and see all the settings, but it just doesn't show.
I really need your help on this, I am new to Drupal and I am working with my University to enhance their labs.
I have a desktop set up in the lab that gathers some information that will be used to update a drupal site every 15 mins. The server is on the same network as the desktop but I need to send the information to that remote location (server) in order to post them. so my remote server should act as client to the desktop (i think)
Please let me know if you have any suggestion to what I need to use. thank you for your time in advance.
I installed Drupal 7 tonight and had a list of modules I wanted to install. One of the was Profile2, with which I had problems before, but I installed incorrectly last time. I installed Profile2 (after having installed a number of others like Views, CTools, etc.) and it gave me an error, but my site continued working. I was hesitant to uninstall, because last time I was completely unable to uninstall Profile2 and my site stopped working.
