I followed some steps to enable the Views module taxonomy terms view, but it doesn't seem to be working. I feel like having a page to list excerpts of all posts that belong to a given taxonomy term should be native functionality... certainly I dont have to rely on a module??? I'd rather not use Views, which has the most human unfriendly interface known to man. Isn't there a single tpl file i can create, that will automatically be the view for all /taxonomy/term/term pages?
frustrated with documentation.
I'm running drupal 7 and am trying to customize the user registration page.
I've been adding text fields and checkboxes for various info, but now would like to do a drop down list so the new users have to select 1 of some number of choices.
What field type am I supposed to be using? I've looked at all of them and i'm pretty sure there isn't a drop-down option (even though I keep reading about people using it).
Is it a module that I'm missing or am I really just overlooking it?
Thanks for your help!
I'm helping to develop a website with Dreamweaver that is becoming data-heavy and is quickly outgrowing the Adobe tool. The site, still in development, which you can view here -- http://learningworksforkids.com/m2/parents/index.html -- is an educational technology site that, when it launches, will have 1,000 pages of video game guides, 100 supporting pages, and 2,000 PDFs. The site will continue to grow beyond those numbers week by week. It will also have an active forum, a blog, and many videos.
I am seeking a free hosting service that is capable of hosting drupal 7 (other than Drupalgardens), a reliable, well featured one, if any !
Many of the free hosting services i found are unable to host drupal 7, either for its older php version or for PDO being disabled on it.
