Hello,
I'm new to Drupal, but I've set up a website with Drupal 7, and a few users have registered already.
Yesterday i created a new basic page without problems, but today I can't seem to create anything at all. When I click "add content" Drupal says that I haven't created any content types yet. If I go to structure and content types, all of my content types are listed, and I can edit them, but I simply can't USE them...
Whenever I try to use the automatic updater to install a module, a receive an error message such as this:
• The specified file temporary://fileV1bjVb could not be copied, because the destination directory is not properly configured. This may be caused by a problem with file or directory permissions. More information is available in the system log.
• http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/webform-7.x-3.8.tar.gz could not be saved to temporary://update-cache/webform-7.x-3.8.tar.gz.
I enabled it and I want to use it in publishing option in the node, means the date when the node is created.
I want to set the date to for example 2008 year and I want to pick that by date popup, Iwas looking in node template and could not find any spacific place where to change something.
In cck fields the date field does not come up either
I get an error message telling me there is data in a field and it can't be changed. I'm trying to set content to show a summary view instead of the full body in Drupal 7. I also get odd error messages -- unrelated, perhaps, to this problem. Here's the error message I get:
FIELD SETTINGS
There is data for this field in the database. The field settings can no longer be changed.
These settings apply to the Body field everywhere it is used. These settings impact the way that data is stored in the database and cannot be changed once data has been created.
Hi, I was given an assignment to create a collaborative platform on which users will be able to share their videos and if possible edit them online. can i do this on drupal? i noticed that some users prefer drupal and others joomla. which will be best for me? i'm new in these so i may lack very basic information. thanks in advance for your replies. antony.
