im trying to have a block on my front page where the user can click on one two or three terms of a taxonomy and after being redirected to a page that contain only the the terms select....its for a cook website...example u click on eggs and sugar and u have the page of recipes with only these two ingredients.... does anyone know a module that can do that ? or maybe in a different way ?
I'm a noob, and am building my site in Drupal now, using Stark and the "block class" module. The original site was built from straight html and css.
I know from reading that Drupal has an "advanced option" where main and secondary links can have the same source. I've set up a parent-child set of links in which I'd like to have the parents shown as the main menu, and then have the correct set of children to be shown for each parent.
But I don't know how, for any particular web page, I indicate to Drupal which parent the child links should be drawn from.
I am in the process of modifying the Garland theme for a client and have run into a snag.
We are using the "blog" module to allow some users to keep simple blogs on the site. I want to customize the way the blog page looks, keeping the overall feel, but I want to have some custom blocks displayed on that page and no other.
I thought it would be as simple as copying the page.tpl.php file over to page-blog.tpl.php, however, when i do this it will not load the custom template file.
I'd like activate the forum module on my Drupal site. However, I don't want users to create new forum topics *without* administrator approval. This is similar to not being allowed to post comments without administrator approval.
Under permissions I see options for "Create new content," but not for "Create new content but need admin approval".
I am new to Drupal and I know very little about website building and website developing.I have the following question:
How can I create a website for watching videos online? What modules should I use? Which Drupal theme would you suggest?
I want to create something similar to this: http://www.hulu.com/popular/feature_films
