Drupal 7.x

I created a form using webform. Is there a way to add a validation method which validates the form on clicking the submit button without refreshing the page? And the error messages will be shown on a layer rather than message box. Can somebody give some idea how can I achieve this? A small hint will be appreciated.

Is there a way to make a block, that is purely static, containing just HTML?

At the moment I can only seem to make blocks that contain results, much like a view

Hi,

I did some research, but couldn't figure out the correct way to offer secure downloads of application trials from my Drupal site. Essentially, a visitor will be able to click 'download trial' and bring it down.

I found a suggestion to use filefield and filefield path.However, filefield module does not have a 7.x release yet.

what is the best recommended way?

I am switching from an old Mambo Installation to Drupal 7. There is one thing I am wondering about:

I want to make a simple Table View of certain Nodes, that belong to specific Categories:

- in Taxonomy, I made a new field "category" with some values
- each node has one of the taxonomy values
- additionally I made a field "List Node Title" that shows another Title than the original

and now the problems begin:

I want to make it available to only people logged on. Any ideas?
