Drupal 7.x

Let's say I find a news article or blog post I want to link to, but rather than just posting a link on my site, I want to have a "Teaser" in a node or block that would then link to the external page. I think this is different from RSS because I don't necessarily want to subscribe to the feed for the site; I only want the content for one post. Is it possible and if so, how would one configure this?

I building a multinlingual site (english/spanish) but I have some errors with the Multilingual Module. I think it's a conflict with new Views module.
Anyone has or had this problem?
I'm on Drupal 7

Theres a couple of things that I'd like to be able to do with fields which I can't currently see a way of doing:

1. Create hybrid fields e.g. I want to create a field type which consists of a user reference and an item from a select list to associate with that user and want to be able to have multiple of these instances on a page. I could obviously create the two fields separately but then I'd have to write a custom module to validate that they are kept in sync, and I'd like them visually to be placed next to each other in the edit form.

Alright so I followed the directions:

Open the terminal and type the following:
/Applications/MAMP/Library/bin/mysqladmin -u root -p password [NEWPASSWORD]

except of course instead of [newpassword] i put my new password

then I get a message

ENter Password:

Then I can't type anything into my terminal. When I press enter again, i get the error "error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)"

I have looked everywhere and tried a lot of things, nothing will work. I need to change that password!

Hi,

since I am creating menus with views (tabs) I need to rename the "view" tab that is in the view/edit menu as this is always the first tab that will appear. How do i rename this?

I found this code for drupal 6 which is supposed to be put into the page.tpl.php file but this seems to have changed in 7.

Can someone give advice on how the code would look in 7?
