Drupal 7.x

Hi Everyone..this is my first post. I'm very new to drupal and have been a long time Joomla user. Started to notice many sites were using drupal and after looking into it I loved the amount of add on modules available. My goal in the next few months is to be able to write my own modules for drupal(hopefully its not too difficult).

I'm a newbie trying to figure out Views Slideshow 7.x-3.0-alpha1 on Drupal 7.

I tried to follow the instructions for the later version (link below) and for many parts I could, but can someone please briefly explain what are the changes since slideshow 2? So I can attempt to figure out how to use the newer version?

I've installed Media and Media Gallery.

It's listed in the modules section, but I can't tick it to enable it as it has this message:

Requires: List (enabled), Field (enabled), Field SQL storage (enabled), Options (enabled), Number (enabled), Media (enabled), File (enabled), Image (enabled), File Styles (enabled), Styles (enabled), Taxonomy (enabled), Multiform (missing)

How can I install the missing Multiform or uninstall Media Gallery to try again?

Here's what I have:

Base drupal 7 install.
Added field to basic page as type file.

All seems to work perfect as first (admin) user. I can attach files, they show up, all's well with the world. With any other user cannot attach files to content. There is no error, in apache logs or drupal logs. I browse to the file, then hit "Upload". The progress bar does it's thing, and the path remains in the browse field, but no file shows up.

I am struggling to add a child menu item under a main one in the main menu.

I have used the cross hairs to move an item rightwards to be under another item.

I have checked the "Show as Expanded" boxes.

I have selected the correct item as parent.

I am using the default Bartik theme.

Any ideas??!

Cannot figure out how to get my event listings to display on their corresponding dates within the calendar!!! Please help...have included screen shots to help define problem I've encountered.
