Hallo! I'm having a problem integrating HTML5 into my Drupal 7 site and am looking for anyone who might be able to enlighten me:
My theme is built from the Genesis Theme and using VideoJS module. I am able to get it to work in Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome and iPad but in Internet Explorer 8 when it is supposed to fallback to Flash there is only the FlowPlayer which gives an “Error 200 stream not Found”.
I had a friend who is a developer sit with me and go line by line through the PHP in the videojs.tpl.php and and still came up with no workable solutions. It appears that the (count($items) is not recognizing the .flv. I made a new .flv file and uploaded it but had the same problem.
Elsewhere on the site embedded Flash works fine, only when it's uploaded as part of the Fallback it doesn't.
As a side note: The poster image isn't connecting to video. For the HTML5 stuff it picks out the first frame so I can work with that but it would be nice to make it function properly.
I want this website to host its own content without the help of 3-party hosts, which is the reason for going this route and would very appreciative of anyone who could offer some advice.
