Creating a view of two most recent lists on a single page

I am trying to get two lists of most recent blog entries (one list for topic A, one for topic B) to view on a single page. Each item on the list will contain 1 thumbnail image, a title, and a summary/teaser of the content.

Would it be better to create two content types, one for A and one for B, then create a view that will provide a list of both content type; or would it best if both blog topics use the same content type, tag them with taxonomy terms and create a view that lists each term? Or is there a entirely different and better way to do this?

Views 3, Modifying RSS Output, HOW? Woud like to make "iTunes Compatible" feed

So I've been trying to go at this for a while, mostly searching the forums and other blogs for ways to do this. I see that there is an iTunes module that might work for this, but it doesn't have a drupal 7 compatible release.

I have a view, called "podcast" that has an RSS feed displaying my latest podcasts (which is it's own content type).

Is there anyway I can modify the template files to create something like an iTunes RSS feed. For example, Drupal RSS feeds still have the HTML header, so I would would to replace that w/ an XML header like below:

D7 Search Box Missing on Front Page

I just setup D7 and put the search block in the header area. But when I go to the Home page it disappears. If I go to any other node it is there.
I did a search but didn't find anything. I have checked the permissions and they seem good.
Anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Z

D7 Rant

Before I even type my first sentence, I already know this will go nowhere. I know that I will be defeated before I utter my first word. I know that some will read this and tell me it is all my fault and I am stupid. I have NO business even using Drupal let alone upgrading my production site of 3 years to D7. What the hell was I thinking? So, yes, I agree - this is all MY fault. Because I am stupid.

I've been using Drupal for 3 years. Some will say that I have been leaching and what do I want for nothing? To that, I say that I post every single error I run into, and I follow up. I'm more of a tester and less of a developer. Hey, you need testers too, damnit! So, I do feel that I do contribute. Some will argue that point anyways. Whatever.

Creating multiple content feed/"teaser" pages

My website is a site where users can share photography and music. I'm trying to set it up so that the main page displays all newly submitted content (which it already does), but to also create a page with only recently submitted photography and another page with new only music. How do I go about creating these two new "teaser" pages?

Thank you for any suggestions.

Slider with flash integration for Drupal 7 ?

Hi everybody ,

i try to build my new homepage with Drupal 7. I need to add a flash movie to my frontpage slider.. Is there anything ?
Or can i use a module like the nivo views slider and then use flash ? I just can´t find anything.

If anybody knows an external slider wich is easy to use, i might just integrate it..

Thx in advance, John
