Drupal 7.x

Is it possible to migrate the Forum (Advanced Forum) from one Drupal Installation to another one ?

I tried Node Export but it does not include the Forums (Taxonomy?)
I see all the Topics in content but its does not create the forums.

I did an Update from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 a while ago but its all a bit messed up since the Update from 5 to 6 wasnt done right already. I would like to have a fresh Drupal 7 Installation and migrate all Blogs and Forumtopics to it (including files, but i dont mind moving them manual)

Right of the bat I want to underline I'm really new to Drupal, therefor I just can't figure this one out. I'm building this website and I would like the language switcher to be visible and working on it. Now I've done the following steps which also created the following problems.

1) Not showing the default language switcher
I went to administrator>Structure>Blocks and added the language switcher to show at the header and saved it. In the setup I selected the different languages I wanted and to which user it should be avaiable (at this moment all). Yet when I reloaded the page, the language switcher wasn't there.
2) Downloaded modules "i18n" and "variables"
Since I got no results I checked with google and it showed this module that seemed recommened even on the drupal webpages. So I downloaded it together with the needed module "variables". After this I figured that I needed to select all the installed items to get in running. Unfortunately there was no change in anything afterwards nor any visible threat of any kind (not even an error being displayed). So I started checking the configurations and played with it for about 3-4 hours and still can't get it to work.
3) Downloaded the module "entity translations"

How can I display a field twice within a node (in Drupal 7)? There is an image field in one of my content types and I would like to display that same image both at the top and bottom of the "post". Is this possible?

I explain my problem.
On creation of my "custom content type" I provide a menu link to a Parent item in the Main menu.
But I don't want it to show up in the menu. Its just for the coherence of the structure
and for the display of the breadcrumbs. ...(custom block with views display the content) ...
Actually I have to go to 'Structure/Menus/Main menu/list' to manually disable the link

Would it be possible to intercept the data on validation and hide/disable the menu item ?

I have been given commit access for the Apture module and migrated it from my sandbox to a new branch, 7.x-1.x-alpha and committed the port to the full contrib repo.

I can't seem to get the release to show though when I try to create it. I have the ability the create older releases, but don't seem to be able to to select the 7.x version when I go to "add release".
