Have no "promote to front page" content on frontpage event though some exist ?

Hi !

As on frontpage, I want "promoted to frontpage" content to be shown inside a block-view of my own, what to do so "promoted to frontpage" content does not show up on the same page ?
I tried to give to "content" block option "does nt display on following pages" "" but it does not seem to work !
I also tried with Empty Page module, but it's still here !

In fact, I would rather not install a new module or have the frontpage be another page (in system settings), nor change my page.tpl.php file ! The simpler, the better.

Any idea ?

Json / Drupal 7/ Content out of a $get.Json request / populate a div on a page - How?

I am working on an innovative drupal front end and I need to hook drupal into place to provide me just the content/body of nodes in the form json.

So when a user clicks on the menu, the page does not refresh but grabs the body of the node, so that I can use to re-populate in a sliding container.

How do I, in drupal 7, get a json output of the nodes. I've tried several techniques but I am not having any luck.

[Solved] Custom form field with children

I'm trying to create a new form element that can contain other form elements (e.g. like a fieldset form element).

I can get it to work, but not The Way It Is Meant To Be®. Let me illustrate with an example:

Randomly choose from different thumb settings

Hi,

I created my own content type where I can add one or more images. Anyways I'd like to choose the thumbsettings randomly out of three for each entry, so basically what i'd like to do is to have 3 thumb presets and one of them gets randomly chosen (or I'd at least like to have som sort of dropdown to manually select thumb type). Is that possible in drupal 7?

Thanks

[Solved] How to make a Drupal visible from local network?

I need my "site1" website to be visible from other machine on the local network.
Drupal is located at /var/www/drupal.
Document root for the site1 is: /var/www/drupal/sites/localhost.site1 and it's properly accessible by http://localhost/site1.

Breadcrumb URL Missing path info/query string

Is there a reason when I click on a link to a view with a contextual filter the extra path info is not included in the breadcrumb's url href value? The breadcrumb link will not work properly because of this.
