Drupal 7.x

Hi guys,

I am new to drupal and currently I am having to work with a client who wanted the website produced on drupal.

Basically on one of the pages the client wants like a holding page where this page would bring in all subpage links in this category as well as the opening paragraph for that page. Kind of like an excerpt type module. After looking around I could only find one from the old drupal version and not this version.

He wants it so that if someone was to add a new page in this category then the page and its excerpt paragraph would be added automatically.

I have a blog directory. Each member blog has a specific page and url.

When a blog member joins, I want html code specific to his page available to him which he can slap on his sidebar, allowing others to vote for his blog on my directory.

Please direct me to a drupal module or some sort of service that can do this for me? TIA

I did the 7.0 to 7.2 upgrade and ran into complications when I (hastily) tried to update the Superfish module at the same time. I received a "druapl apache/conf not found" error and could not access the site. I went to my backup files and overwrote the .htaccess file (from the backup) - the site came back. I've updated the other modules and it all looks good now.

1.) I tried to add back the 7.2 .htaccess file and the site breaks again. Replacing with my 7.0 .htaccess restores the site. So I compared the files and this is missing from the 7.2 file:

Dear Experts,

I am a newbie in drupal, webform and php. Actually I have installed the drupal-7 with the webform module and I want to modify the text of options i.e. "view" to "create project" and "Results" to "View Projects"... I searched for solution and I noticed that best option is to create a custom module and use hook_form_alter() to modify, so I have created a custom module. But I dont know how I can modify.

Kindly excuse me if the solution is already there (I could not find it :( )
