Hello,

I have reduced my user login form to the fallowing lines:

I'm preparing to use Feeds to import some content from a csv exported from an old ASP driven CMS. We have a couple of columns for the main body content and some sidebars, which contain links to old pages.

The links are formed like http://example.com/landwater/article.asp?fileid=12345

If I use $result=db_query($query), I can access the result of my query by using foreach($result as $record){$uid=$record->uid;}

However, if I use $uid=$result[0]->uid, I get an error: Fatal error: Cannot use object of type DatabaseStatementBase as array

What is the best way to access the result of the query? Bearing in mind that I only want the one row?
