Content Author as a Field Selection

I wish to display the author next to the content title. I know I can enable authoring information, but that would include date and picture. I only wish to show the author and a link to their profile. I figured this might be best done as a field selection on the custom content type. Is this possible? I have not found a way to create a field that would be a link to the author.

Can the token [comment:body] be summarized?

Pretty much the topic. Is it possible to make the output of the token [comment:body] summarized to a specific amount of characters?

Install page doesn't exist-only login??

I just uploaded 7.0 to my host, setup the sql DB and renamed the default.settings.php to settings.php; However when I visit the site all I see is a login page for drupal, no install configuration and when I create an account via login page it reports it's not activated yet...also says it will be approved by a moderator? I also edited the settings.php to mimic the DB settings for MySQL, didn't make a difference either.

time limit form submission drupal 7

Ive been trying to figure a way of time limiting a user from making a form post in drupal I would like to restrict a user to a form post (node post) to once per week – Im using field api to add some extra fields as part of a survey type entity

I was thinking of using the field api to hold a hidden value to the number of posts made and restricting the access based on the time since the last post was made – there are some modules for drupal 6 but I need to get something working for D7

Admin (User1) email will not update

Like here (http://drupal.org/node/1185484), changing "E-mail address" under "Site details" at Administer > Configuration > System: Site information does not work. After entering the updated email address, and clicking "Save Configuration" the page updates with "The configuration options have been saved," however the old (unwanted) email is still listed. I am using a ASP "BlueHost" and installed Drupal as a service through their administrative control panel, not directly as a native download.

Deleting nodes from backend

I happened upon a very weird internal server error with some of my views, and narrowed it down to one particular node that's causing all the trouble. The problem is, I can't delete this node using drupal interface because it gives me the internal server error. How do I delete this node from the backend?

thanks!
