Simple image placement in sidebar

Good day, everyone,
Is there an easy process for just adding an image (no title or text) to a sidebar block? Sorry if this ridiculously easy, but I'm not sure if I can do this with the included modules in D7. Thanks in advance for your generous help.

Problem with Forum

Recently i am creating forum at drupal. Each time when i add forum it's getting slower. After i added 100 forum, everytime when i try to add it'll take almost 1 minute to create new forum. Anyone have solution for this one.

Image select

Hello everybody.
I really can't figure out a question that in my opinion must be very simple but it doesn't seem to be.
I create a content type and add an image field with unlimited values.
When I add content and want to add images, I'm only allowed to upload images.
Why can't I select previously loaded images?
I know that some modules allows to do that but many modules like "Gallery" or "Gallery Formatter" only behave on image field type.
How can I do that?

Panels or something else

I want so set up a couple of pages with news items and calendar events where eligible users (mostly computer novices) can add new content.
Panels would appear to be the ideal solution - once set up contributers can add new content or delete/edit existing content all on the same page.
However, the options to add content are to add an existing node or to add new custom content.
to add an existing node would, I think, require the contributor to first of all create a new basic page for each item of news, then on the panels create new content and add the node that they previously created.
A much simpler way would, at first sight, be to add new custom content. In that way the content would be created in the place where it goes, and when it is deleted as being out of date, the content of that article is also deleted.
However, the editor provided for the body of custom content is a basic text editor - if you want more than just plain text you need to type in the appropriate HTML tags. Not something I would want novice computer users to have to do. A Wysiwyg editor such as CKEditor would be better, but although I have CKEditor installed and can use it in Basis Pages and Articles I can't use it in Panels.

Deleting region names on pages

I'm sure this is a beginners issue, but I have been stuck at this for almost an hour now and I'm getting very frustrated, so I hope someone out there can help.

I've made a Drupal 7 site with an Omega subtheme. For some reason, all the regions are made visible, so that you get to see things like 'Header First / header_first', 'Sidebar First / sidebar_first' on every page. There has to be a way to turn this off, but frustratingly, I can't find it!

Please, can anyone tell me where I can turn this off? I'm desperate...
