Drupal 7.x

Hi everyone,

I have been on the forum for hours, searched google and also watched the gotdrupal video entitled "multi site vs multi installation". I thought the latter might solve my problem.

In a nutshell, I host sites already using umbraco (each a separate install). I have switched to drupal now. I will be setting up 5 or so completely unrelated websites from scratch using drupal on a package which allows for 10 domains.

Now, would people suggest going down the multi site route or the multiple installation route? I can see the (potential) security issues with multi site plus the fact if something goes wrong, all sites are affected. I like the fact with a multi install that each site can be handled separately.

I have read about drush, and still have no idea how to use it (actually...or what it does?!), although I read another post that it can make upgrading easy. If this was the case I would 100% go the multiple install route. But would I even get shell access on my hosting plan? It will have cpanel but I can't see it allowing me much more than that without me having to upgrade my account.

I made a module that works fine and displays in the content region perfectly. However I need to also have the same module display in a block in another region between the menu and content regions. So far my google-fu has been unable to point me in any direction to tell me how to do this. I'm pretty novice in terms of drupal but am skilled in PHP.

What is the best way to go about this? Has anyone seen a tutorial on doing such a thing?

I have problem with setting up the organic group.
I need that in my settings only administrator can create the group.
But I want to that users have request form to propose they membership. Then administrator of group accept user or not.

What I try:
I created new content type "Filio" and I set that only group administrator can create this new content.
and is't works well
but how create request form for users?
I would be good if this form appears when new user registries on my site.

Hi there. I'm trying to remove the title: "Contact" from the contact form. Interestingly I cant even find out how to change it, which would be better than nothing.. If I change the title in the contact.module (shown below) nothing happens. Could someone help me out? Thanks!

with mozilla it works without problems :-)

by cons with explorer 8 it gets stuck :-(

1/ it works if I am registered user

2/ but by cons if I am not a registered user, I get an error -> explorer can not open this page ...
and if I insist -> res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#,http://localhost...

It has anyone find a solution to this error ? I can not find ...

I just enabled the Danland theme, but I don't see a slideshow banner on the homepage. Do I have to change some codes to make it appear on the homepage?
