I need to write a module that spits out a view based on some requirements that I can't just configure with views.

I have to separate the output of the view into 5 blocks. Anyone have any info on this or can let me know how to do this?

I want to modify the read more link to some other text. For example, click me. I tried using string override module but it doesn't change it. Can I know where is it located in the code so that I can manually change it? Thanks.

I ran the Pathauto bulk update on my site, which created new aliases for all my URLs. But it didn't update any of my links, and, when I click I link, the address bar of my browser still shows the old node number, not the new alias.

I have a hunch I'm missing something simple. Pathauto is supposed to update the links, right? Or at least show the new alias path in the browser's address bar?

My site currently works like this:

1. A select box where they choose from multiple mysql tables
2. They then submit
3. I use the form_validate() function to set the form_state['rebuild'] variable to true.
4. I then run a function to display the selected table that they chose.

My issue comes from the fact that I use the TableSort extender so I can sort the columns. The problem is that if I am viewing table 2 and I sort a column, the displayed table goes back to table 1. Basically, if I sort any table but table 1, it returns to table 1. How do I fix this?

bugh! i need to know how to install or download the facebook-sdk for windows.

OS: WinXP here. have apache installed just fine, need the facebook sdk now. dont know anything about GITHUB so if you suggest that please detail how i get it from there.

Some time ago I upgraded a site from D6 to D7. So far, comments for Stories were closed on this site (in both versions). Today in D7 I opened comments for Story type and added a comment. This is what happened:

1. The Story does not display anymore. Instead of displaying the Story, there are 2 errors:
