Contact form not available

I am trying to utilize the contact form within Drupal 7 and I have:
1 - enabled the contact module on the drupal CORE modules section at admin/modules/ core section
2 - Set permissions for Contact form: admin has all 3 boxes checked, anonymous has only "Use the site-wide contact form" checked.

vertical scrollbar missing

Using the Stark theme, and having added some content, many of the displayed pages really should have a vertical scroll bar, but do not. Content just disappears below the bottom of the browser window. Looked at my layout.css. Tried adding “overflow:scroll“ to the body tag. This did nothing. Any thoughts?

Is Question and Answer custom node type possible?

I want to create a node type similar to stackoverflow.com where my visitors can create question or answer question and able to rate the answer.

I know how to create a question node type but to answer it is by using a comment system. Is there a module that can turn comment into answer?

Queue processing on separate server...ideas?

My current project needs to be very fast, but I have a lot of processing I need to do in the background.

Any ideas on the best way to have my cron queue processed on a second server, leaving all frontend/website functionality on the current server?

Thanks in advance.

Backup & Migrate Module VS Manual backup

Hi all,

Just wonder what the pros and cons to use "Backup & Migrate" module?
I haven't used that before and I do all the backup via a scheduled cronjob. (rsync for files and dbdump for database.)

It seems to be sufficient.
What juices am I missing from "Backup & Migrate" module?

Many thanks

Updating Drupal 7 core with Drush

Hi, all:

I'm very new to drush and love it so far, but I'm having some trouble upgrading Drupal Core from 7.4 to 7.9. When I use the drush up command from the terminal, it says it was updated successfully to 7.9, yet when I go back to the Updates area, it still shows as 7.4. I've cleared the cache, ran db update, cron etc but still 7.4. Am I don't something wrong?

I have drush installed to a subfolder, which is a separate site from my main site, but everything else seems to work fine with that setup.

Below is what I see in my terminal session after running the update:

Code updates will be made to drupal core.
WARNING: Updating core will discard any modifications made to Drupal core files , most noteworthy among these are .htaccess and robots.txt. If you have made an y modifications to these files, please back them up before updating so that you can re-create your modifications in the updated version of the file.
Note: Updating core can potentially break your site. It is NOT recommended to up date production sites without prior testing.

Do you really want to continue? (y/n): y
