I'm helping a non-profit organization maintain their Drupal website. Their old webmaster is out of the picture and I don't know much about Drupal (I don't even know how to tell which version of Drupal it is). I'm hoping to learn. I just gained access to the Go Daddy account which hosts the site.
There are quite a few folders in sites/all/modules. There are a bunch of tar.gz files named mostly the same as the folder (redundant archives?).
The folders are advanced_help, captcha, cck, contemplate, dvel, ed_readmore, email, fckeditor, gcal_events, google_analytics, local, views, webfm, and webform.
On the Drupal site, I can login as admin and navigate to a page for enabling the modules. There is one enabled called '[org]member' ('org' being the organization's name). I've looked around the Go Daddy 'file manager' a lot and can't find anything with that name.
The readme in 'email' says its a module that provides an email field type for CCK. I don't know what that means.
Here is the main issue right now:
There are membership reminder emails going out automatically. Members keep asking for the emails to stop, but it appears they don't stop. Also, I don't know how to send an email newsletter to the members who *are* signed up.
