Drupal 6.x

I've just started testing Drupal 6.0 beta 2 on VAMP base (Vista Business, Apache2.2, PHP5, MySQL 5.0.45). I got everything running quite smoothly after installing all the required php extensions and all. Added a blog, a forum, some content. Status reports show all green.. but while trying to add my first poll, i got a following error:

I am converting drupal 5.x module to 6.x. I read all conversion list and have a doubt in mind for .install file.

In 6.x we need to write schema for creating table while installing module. It's ok.

But what about inserting records at the time of installation?

For example :

At the time of installation if someone wants to create table and also wants to add some recoreds to that table ( e.g. default setting for module).

How to handle this situation in hook_install for 6.x?

Hello. I am trying to migrate a phpbb2 forum to drupal.. I can configure the migration but when I am ready to do it and I start the migration I get this error:

Forbidden

I am running Drupal at localhost to check it before changing my whole site.

Hello everyone,

I think I might entirely remove the WYSIWYG editing on our site and move to an easier-to-type (than HTML) input format like Markdown, Textile or WikiText (using Drupal's PEAR Wiki module). I'm only wondering... Which of these three modules is the most 'main stream'? I don't want to choose a module now that won't quickly be available in V6.
