Borders in swf or gif

Hi,

I'm using drupal 6rc1, and i did a little test, I added a new block, and put the following code in the body:

Only local images are allowed.

the swf or gif appears in the right column but no border.

In a plain html file outsite drupal, it works well.

An attachment browser?

Is there any usable way to browse all existing attachments on a Drupal site?

I am searching for a solution that encourages reuse of especially images and other kinds of media files, and that maybe also offers some kind of attachment browser (a gallery of all attached files).

A really nice solution would be able to sort by date, tags, categories, file type and so forth. A perfect solution would also lean as much as possible on standard Drupal modules and methods like Upload, Taxonomy and the standard 'files' folder.

Front Page translation

The more tests i make, the more i am confused.

What is the correct way to create a localized front page (localized content at all)?

I have tested both 5.x with "locale" and "i18n" and 6.x with "locale".

I want an internationalized (de / en) content page as the default front page. Referencing the node directly results in displaying hardcoded the respective language (5.x and 6.x).

Create Content Problem

Well I’m very new to Drupal, I’m installing this and setting up for a client and I’m still learning the program but the problem that I’m having is logged in as the super user and I click on Create Content I get access denied. Any ideas?

list of html tags and their functions, dependencies, possible harm from abuse for noobs

WYSIWYG modules depends on adding certain html tags to the filtered html list to get certain fuctions running, after being pissed off by this, i took a deep breath about and thought about, now i find the idea spectacular, it gives more control about the content of the input by users.
I began working on identifying tags that i needed. but this idea came to my mind, of making this post, it will be useful for future noobs, it is a good way for someone to check if he missed something, or allowed something hazardous, let's say.

Why is there no Hierarchy!?

Drupal has just a fake hierarchy with rewrite urls

I tried to change my website from typo3 into drupal but now I must capitulate. My website has a simple one-child-hierarchy. For the parent directories I used the primary links. For the child notes I defined block parts. I thought that every child note belongs to the parent link but they aren't. The primary link should be "active" until someone clicks on the lower child notes. But the primary links are just simple links and no real parent directories. Does anyone know a way to fix this problem?
