I installed 6.1. I added forums.
Now I wish to create a role or something else that I can make only specific users to access only specific forums.
Fro example
users : user 10, user11, user 12, user 20, user21, user 22
forums : forum 1, forum2
users 10-12 will access only to forum1 and users 20-22 will have access only to forum2
This is an issue that has been raised in the past, but mostly having to do with Drupal 5.x. Now that we're in 6.1, I feel I should bring it up again.
The Garland theme ties the site name and slogan together, making it unnecessarily difficult to style one without affecting the other. Many of us want to reduce the size of the slogan text - or for that matter, move it slightly to the right so it's not so close to the title.
I have about 150 PDF files which I would like to manage with Drupal 6. Can someone suggest the best module for the job or approach? With the files, I need blog style description and user comments, but I don't like with the blog approach of running the file as an attachment and it would be nice to show other things about the file such as author and publish.
I'm new to Drupal so suggestions are most welcome.
I was wondering if the drupal 6 has a better User/Roles integration then the drupal 5.x
As I see it, in drupal 5, you can create user roles for different users and via taxonomy content lite you can restrict that user X with role A,B,C can read/write a certain node.
In drupal 6 is there a way to restrict certain parts of a node based on user role?
Je suis débutant avec drupal et j'aimerai savoir les différences entre drupal5 et drupal6 de vue manipulation des langues RTL.
Quelqu'un peut m'aider?
merci d'avance.
