edit block to return all events (regardless of category)

Big caveat: I'm new to Drupal.

I'm trying to help someone with their website -- they have a block set up that returns upcoming events. But, it filters out events that are categorized as "Training Events". But, they want to change that so that it pulls in ALL events (including this formerly excluded category).

So, I go under Site Building -> Blocks, then in the 'configure' screen for the Upcoming Events block. The only thing I can really edit is the content of the block (under 'Block Body') -- I look at the source code for that content, and see this code:

Is Drupal 7 Modules Work with Drupal 6

Hi All,
I have Drupal 7 module installed which makes absolute URL s to Relative URLs and I want the same functionality to be in Drupal 6. Is it possible to use Drupal 7 Modules in Drupal 6, if not what other options I have.

Thanks,

[RE_OPENED] authentication process anomalies

hi all
I have the following problem:
--I have a production site
--the module "Node privacy by Role" is enabled
-- there are some hundreds of memebers, grouped in roles
--some contents and menus are available only to certain roles
--in some browsers (chromium, midori, firefox on tablets, for example), when logging in, let say with user "AAA, it seems the authentication process does not work
--there is no "bad password error", but in spite of this, no "private" content is visible, and the authentication block is still visible

Putting a regular expression check on user registration fields

I have a Drupal 6 site that is getting hit by spammers. I have many spam modules installed, but there is one bot that is still registering 20+ times per day.

I think I can block it because it uses a consistent pattern in a couple of the user registration fields.

Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to put a regular expression check on a couple of specific user fields before allowing the registration to happen? It's Drupal 6.

Thanks in advance.
