Installing Drupal

Im new to this.
I have completely reinstalled Drupal (7.x) 3 times (after erasing all the databases and files) and every time i follow the directions exactly, but i always get errors. I know i have to be doing something wrong.
The installation always seems to work as far as I can tell (apart from the error messages), because i can work on my site with Drupal...but im just curious why i get so many errors and how i can fix it.

Its about a 25 page warning/error list, ill just post a part of the first page:

Hi All

I have played with Drupal for a while but I have just been handed a site that has been built in Drupal. Does anyone know of a good tutorial of how to set up a site that has already been built or be able to guide me. I have the sql database but need to also find out how to re-hook it up to the site.

Any guidance would be great.

When you throw the files from the Drupal 7 on the server a message pops up under your domain:

"Error encoding content

The page can not be displayed, because it uses incorrect or unsupported compression methods. "

Why and how to fix this? this is the case for hosting home.pl and cba.pl. You are the new in this topic, so please be detailed help (step by step). I would add that one person in 10, everything looks normal, but I can not. I Win7 64bit. Drupal 6 work normally .. help.

I want to do a complete Drupal 7 installation on a VPS with root access, probably Amazon EC2 or Slicehost. I don't know how to install all the necessary components to make it work. Help!

Is there's a stack installer tuned to Drupal 7 with Apache 2.x, MySQL 5.0.15 or higher, PHP 5.3, Ubunto, where I can install everything I need in one go? If not, has anybody seen some simple, clear instructions on how to install everything separately?

I just installed Drupal 7, it's pretty cool!

But when I played around I got many empty pages with strange url like
http://localhost:81/drupal/#overlay=%3Fq%3Dadmin%252Fstructure
it should be something like
http://localhost:81/drupal/#overlay=?q=admin/structure

I dont know why i got URL works so strange, so can anybody help me to figure out?

I've cloned a site from an already existing merchant site, database and all. The only thing I changed about the database is that I emptied all of the cache tables. But all of the user information should still be intact. Is this info still secure even though I don't have an SSL or HTTPS address? What steps would I need to take to make this clone site secure?
