How can I restrict access to books, yet leave other content available? Am I missing something? Am I the only one who thinks the node system is extremely limited in the levels of access available? How do create private areas in my drupal site, yet still leave forums, stories, and comments accessible?
I'm having trouble setting up a Drupal-site. After creating the database and uploading the files I get a 'Internal Server Error' when I try to contact the site: www.direkteaktion.dk/drupal
I have contacted my webhotel to ask what is wrong, but they woundn't help - just saying it's problems my the code.
I just wanted to thank everybody who helped out in the conversion of DialogNow.org from Scoop to Drupal. I've been impressed as hell by the IA-oriented features that are part of this software (specifically the ability to roll your own controlled vocabularies, and the ability to configure every smidgen of text that gets displayed to the user using the internationalization module). My users also seem to love the HtmlArea text editor.
Hi,
I want to change the length so that it's only a few lines high.
www.dicelife.com is the site I'm trying to achieve this on. If you look it's storys are 12 lines, which may indicate that is the whole story, I would like only a 3 or 4 line teaser.
I am a beginner in regard to Drupal and I hope my question is not too stupid: I set the length of trimmed posts in the node config to 200 characters. But my articles are printed in almost full length (>1000 chars) on the homepage of my drupal site. Does this depend on the theme (I am useing Marvin right now)? Any other things to consider?
Is there a chance to only publish the first paragraph on the homepage?
