Problem with registering an email address for a user account

I have a user who has a multi-part email address:

a.name@a.very.long.series.of.words.co.uk

Email validation does not like this, and I am not good enough at regex to figure out how to hack this in myself. Help, please. (I did search the site to see if this has been addressed before, but if it has, I did not type in the right combination of words to find it.)

Weird apostrophe problem

Greetings all, I'm a fairly new user of Drupal, and so far I must say I love it!
I'm a bit miffled my first post here will be a silly newbie question, but I couldn't find anything about it using the site search.

The problem is, whenever I post something with an apostrophe in it, somehow a '\' (backslash) is imbedded just before the apostrophe. Like this:

"Dude, where's my car?" becomes "Dude, where\'s my car?".

It's probably just a problem with my linux server and not drupal in itself, but if anyone could answer this, I'd really appreciate it!

Blog creation time freezes

Whenever I post more than 1 blog entry a day (with any amount of time in between, and no restriction set to a posting frequency), the creation time freezes to the time of the first posting. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, I mean, I can enter the correct time manually, but it is a bit annoying.
I'm using Drupal 4.3.0 on a FreeBSD system, and for posting/browsing my website I'm using Opera 7.20.

Multiple image uploads with image.module

Is there a way to upload multiple images at a time with image.module? If not moving my photo album from my old site is gonna be a slow painful process.

Strange bug in message counter on forum

One topic on forum on my site shows comment counter 104, but really it has only 51 comment inside. Other topics on this forum (and other forums) shows correct values. How me correct this wrong value?

Interesting, than if I post comment to this buggy topic counter has increase on two points :\

Event.module Using Military Time?

Event.module uses military time (0-24 hours) when creating an event instead of letting the user input AM/PM. This is tripping up a lot of my users...they're used to 4:00 PM, not 16:00. Is there any way to hack this to make this more friendly?

Thanks!
